A native of Los Angeles, California, Tina Nichols Coury attended Art Center College of Design and Otis Parsons School of Design. She has created illustrations and paintings for such clients as Warner Brothers Records, Mc Donalds, Universal Studios, Bon Appetite Magazine and Polygram Records.

Ms. Coury has also exhibited her paintings at Christine’s of Santa Fe Gallery, Laguna, CA, S&E Gallery, Venice, CA and Island Treasures, Tortola, British Virgin Islands.

She is an active member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and finds artistic inspiration from her world travels. Ms. Coury lives on the beach in Oxnard, California with her husband Al, the Keyboard Kitties and Star the Wonder Dog.
